Factorio

Factorio is a real-time strategy video game. 

In the game you will need to obtain a variety of resources, plan and create huge and convoluted automated factories on manufacture of materials and various equipment and tools while learning new technology, thereby improving the process of extraction and production of the entire factory as a whole.

But it is not so easy as it seems at first glance. Deposits are exhausted sooner or later, and the factory's electricity consumption is constantly growing, and together with the development of soot your factories increasingly begins to irritate the local fauna. In such conditions, in addition to creating and scheduling the factory, there is a need to take care of the defence of existing databases, as well as smooth out and rebuild new territory for the sake of new resources!

How to start playing?

1. First create an account on ZLOEmu (email and password from this site will be needed for authorization in ZClient).
2. Download and install ZClient. ( instruction how to install ZClient)
3. Download latest game version here 
4. Download ZLoaderx64 and put it to game .exe
5. Launch ZClient and wait for successful authorization.
6. Run game with ZLoaderx64.exe
Login - your username, password - any.

If game restarts itself, after enable/disable mods for example, close it and run again with ZLoaderx64.exe

What works, what not?

Work:

• Authorization.
• Server browser.
• Creating public games.
• Headless servers.

Not work:

• Mod installing with game.
• Auto updates.
• Linux version.

How to run headless(dedicated) server?

1. Download ZServer.exe 
2. Download game client here
3. Download ZLoaderx64 and put it to game .exe
4. Configure server in data/server-settings.json (rename/copy from server-settings-example.json), login and password for auth - any.
5. Run ZServer, wait for update and "Ready".
6. Create bat file in folder with game .exe, for example to run latest(by date) save:

• ZLoaderx64.exe --start-server-load-latest --server-settings ..\..\data\server-settings.json

Or for my-save.zip:

• ZLoaderx64.exe --start-server my-save.zip --server-settings ..\..\data\server-settings.json
