BF3 Launcher by Killzone and Skan

Launcher to get better better. Many players use it to send statistics to the tournament for bf3. But I noticed a problem. In statistics, an email written on top of the player.Attackers can exploit this and to hack user.We do not need. So please replace the mail on the top player's nickname.

Hey,

Firstly, even if they have the email, they cannot hack the password because the best hackers in the world don't play battlefield or any game and the small ones barely do a succsesful DOS. Hacking the email provider is impossible aswell as hacking this website.

And secondly, the API does not allow us to get player name, only player Email. So ZLOFENIX must do this in order for us to implement it. :D

 

For the guys sharing their log: Blur the portion of the image where your email is.

Use this website: http://pixlr.com/editor/

Upload your image, then press the eraser tool in the left panel or press the E key and delete your email.

To save it go top-left > File > Save [or CTRL+S]

Hey,

GreeenPNZ, I'm currently working hard at rewriting the code from scratch cause when i started to work at the launcher i didnt had in mind multilanguage and now its hard to implement it . This will take a few days.

when did we already see different localization of languages? :zst:

I will explain you the process and why it is taking this long.

We have coded the launcher in a 16 year old programming language, instead of the new one from 3 years ago. [Our mistake as we are novice at programming]

This made things a bit hard for us as we did not have the possibility to customize the launcher other than images made in photoshop.

Now, a button has different phases:

For the button in filters "OP METRO"

1.Normal

2.Normal selected

3.Hover

4.Hover selected

^ This layout applies to each and every button in our launcher

 

The launcher is IMAGE only so we have about 70-100 images in english which means about 200 images for all states of buttons.

We have to translate the launcher so far in 12 languages which means 2.400 images to be made by hand as i could not find an automatic process to do that for me.

 

What we are doing right now is changing the programing language to the new one which allows us to customize everything and things will go this way:

4 states of buttons for all buttons: 1,2,3,4 stated above. which will result in 40 images in the entire launcher and the translation can be done in 2 or 3 hours. This new language will also use the latest render process which is used to render the Windows interface, so everything will go fast and smooth.

Also the launcher size will probably be reduced from 70% to 80%.

 

We are coding the launcher from 0 and might take a day or two. We are doing our ultimate best to get this done asap.

You so wrong ^^ I'm just converting from Windows Form to WPF, coding language is still c# Skan.

And yeah. The user interface will be better(less glitchy) and faster and the launcher will be smaller so its worth to wait :)

Also, this guy has a point -

Brilliant Launcher.. Prefer this more than Battlelog :)

A small request/suggestion: It would be better if it looked more like the original game.

Like, set this as the background image: vfFAcX0.jpg

and the battlefield 3 singleplayer menu ambience as the background music.

As this looks like the most professional and polished launcher, why don't make it even better with the look form the original game?

Pinging from cmd is easier than from the launcher. So far this is your problem, nobody else addressed it to us, but we will take a look at it tho.

Hey Skan..Hope you doing well

 

Well email is a problem because most people choose existing email ids that they use for other personal purposes as well and so, even though the hackers wont want to play Battlefield 3, they might get compromising details...

 

Also, you can ask the user to enter soldier name as a one time procedure while inputting the username and password at the first time of launcher run and display the name instead of email id...

 

Anyway , appreciate your work...

How do you know? Why are you talking nonsense? Transfer will not be! Will open the main site, the forum will be here. The emulator has always been on the domain org. The opening will be linked to wipe and emulator version V4.0

i said "hopefully" because i thought they are going to move the whole player database to a new server and leave other stuff on the old server so it can be possible to add friends system or something like that maybe i miss understood

      Такая проблема некоторые сервера не работают без VPN Ping 999 даже если зайти на этот сервер игра пускает но черный Экран и надпись ЗАГРУЗКА  больше ничего не происходит переустановка , не помогла чистка Кэша тоже Файл лицензии тоже удалил всеравно бесконечная загрузка к серверу пример сервер [2XP] Rucckuu Cepвер All-Maps учитываем что пинг 43

      To whom it may concern, I am a long time zlorigin user and i really love the content and the work you put in. My problem is as thus follows, and it relates to battlefield 3 and may solve the hacking, rule breaking, and time managing issues admins have to go through.
      I am well aware about the presence of a discord server, and if you were to wish to implement the following on discord, it would probably be benifiting. 
      Most of the OG player base on Battlefield 3 ZLOEMU hosted Servers happen to have more knowledge of glitches and ways to get around both hacks and abusing the rules. Instead of putting a strain on admins for the push of constant "Please ban this person" or similar requests, you can create a process there-in which you can have trial admins with the following privleges :
      !Kick (Once per hour 30min)   !Warn + Reason per warning !Report (Non admins / players can report a players and until a report count of a specific threshold is met, admins can investigate, thus reducing the amount of times you have to inspect an account. You can also implement a log which records the measure taken by these trial admins/mods, thus having more control over their actions and since re creating an account is a pain, Problems will be resolved instantly.
      It's really annoying to see players change teams to sabotage and players with more unlocks such as tv missiles spawn camp each and every server from far away, and coincidentally, I've noticed decline in average users that visit the servers from time to time, and instead a rapid increase in fresh accounts that are obliviously hacking and reducing player count. I hate having to constantly look for admins which will probably result in an overburden onto admins, which I  have experienced and do not like. There has been a constant decline ever since the year started and I really don't want your services to go unappreciated.

      I was wrongfully banned for 24hrs and my beloved record was reset my whole 6 years of bf3 record was gone because of stupid modding software installed on my fucking pc (I didn't use it a bit).. is it possible to recover it ? ..if not I understand .. thanks ..

      Hello, i just installed the game and everything following the zlo guide for BF3, but for some reason everytime i join a server the game crashes, this doesn't happens on campaing

      the game just closes down every time I join game it dose not crash just closes in the "per loading screen" the one with the dot in the corner but the single play works just fine any help

      Доброго времени суток. Ввиду катастрофической нехватки свободного времени, не могу закончить работу над лаунчером в одиночку.
      Если у тебя прямые руки в C# и WPF, и у тебя есть желание помочь, помоги. Уже почти доделана новая версия API, на базе которой и нужно будет построить новый лаунчер.
      Ибо сам я, на данный момент, не могу. И в одиночку продолжать работать работу не буду.
