Zclient run drop failed 6 for diablo 2 shortcut

Recommended Posts

Hello so i've been playing d2 resurrected on zclient for about 2 weeks. been working fine and this past week i get something called a run drop failed 6. What i have found out is that if i open my diablo 2 res folder and i use the actual d2r.exe file in there. It works but when i use the shortcut on my desktop i get run drop failed 6. i provided a picture but for some reason i couldn't insert it so i'll leave the link. Does anyone know a fix for this? or why this started to happen and to get it to work with my shortcut.

ZClient 10.07.12.04 (gyazo.com)

Diablo 2 Ressurected received an update yesterday and the current D2R.exe v1.0.845.0 no longer works with current ZClient.exe 10.12.10.20 (always Run drop failed 6)

So i tried with previous D2R.exe v1.0.527.0 and it works fine.

Hi, thanks. Where do i get D2R.exe v1.0.527.0? :D

it wasn't only the D2R.exe that got updated but also many other files. so it's not safe to use an outdated exe with newer files.

so you have to wait, maybe ZLOEmu gets fixed for the new D2R.exe

I'm having the same issue after update D2R (I could play D2R without any problems before). Now I've received message: "Run drop failed 6", also.

I wish you will update ZClient ASAP, thank you in advances!
