it wasn't only the D2R.exe that got updated but also many other files. so it's not safe to use an outdated exe with newer files. so you have to wait, maybe ZLOEmu gets fixed for the new D2R.exe

Diablo 2 Ressurected received an update yesterday and the current D2R.exe v1.0.845.0 no longer works with current ZClient.exe 10.12.10.20 (always Run drop failed 6) So i tried with previous D2R.exe v1.0.527.0 and it works fine.
