I got banned for "multiac" after not playing for 10 months or so

What the title says. I forgot zloemu existed for almost a year, decided to play bf3 online again but got a message saying I got banned for "multiac". I don't have any other account here, only this one. In that timeframe I've upgraded my CPU, motherboard and GPU. HWID bans seeem a stupid way to ban someone.
