Nothing happens when i click on join server

I just downloaded bf3 , logged in with my account on zclient and then opened 34h launcher and tried to join a server but nothing happens. If i click on join a server, a green bar shows up saying joining a server and goes away after few seconds but nothing happens. BF3 doesn't even launch. Need some help
